Warhammer!?

All I need to say about this game is HOLY S*#&. Warhammer Online: Age OF Reckoning is one of the best new MMOs that I have played since WoWs release. It does have a few downsides and on open beta it has a bit of glitches, but the game is the most structurally sound new game of the last 3-4 years.

One major thing that I did notice is that the farther away Players/Mobs are the less detailed(Rendered) they become. You may be saying "Well that's always the case with distance", but no this is something completely different. The models and spells go to almost 2D from more then about 45 yards away which gives it almost a free-to-play kind of look. Ewwwwww . Although I am not going to lie to you, this is the worst part of the game and in my PoV it doesn't matter.

There are also many great things in the game that make up for the graphix issues though and they mainly come in the form of Public Quests, The Tome of Knowledge(Lore Geek Heaven), and a completely customizable UI(Movement, not sure about modding yet). In the picture above i have moved almost 90% of the items that I use in the UI to fit my needs and likes. THIS ROCKS.

Public quests or "PQ"s are the coolest thing to ever hit the MMO scene. To participate all you have to do is enter a zone do the objectives and have blast, with absolutely no formal grouping nessesary. Why is this fun? Because it breaks the mold of the normal solo grind experience and really gives you a chance to interact fellow people your level to achieve one unified goal. Epic.

The Tome of knowledge has EVERYTHING Warhammer in it. From getting quest help to getting crazy achievements for even crazier titles; the tome has it all. The tome can tell you about your influence gain(PQ rep) and what the rewards are for getting the highest Influence are. It also serves as a way to keep along with the story though and really get the full experience out of the game, kudos to you Mythic.

All in All I would have to give the game a 8/10 and recommend the game to all players, but if graphics are your thing I would wait off and see what they do.

Also, Vote Obama so Hath is happy.

Guess What?

I made a Blog.

This day at 8:16 pm i got really bored and decided i was going to join this internet trend of "blogging". Now, while normal to most people this is really weird to me because I feel like I have past some invisible line of Nerdery that I have so feared or loathed to cross. My buddy Hathorn has made me feel different about the matter of Blogging which has Brought me to this post. Enough on that though, time to fill people in on who I am.

I am 17 years of age and I just got my License.

I was never good in Highschool, but i pulled it off in four years and I am about to start College at the local two year school.

I am an avid Video Gamer who plays about every genre. My main games; WoW, CS:S, and GoW are going to take up a bit of my Blogs because well, i just like them!

WoW and me. I play on Drenden under the Name of Salvi. I am a 70 gnome warrior who just likes to have fun. I am also in beta (yay, i love you Hathorn!) which is really cool, but I am pretty much an idiot sooo it doesnt matter. =P

That wasn't too bad, I guess i just post every couple days with some random facts/opinions and this will give me some entertainment when I should be doing dailies.
